Molly crossed her arms and looked at the garden. The weather was so fine that it was quite unsurprising to have the tables out. There were enough places for the family... and enough food for three times as many people. No, make that four times.
And stacked chairs for more guests.
Molly was still fussing over not having organised this properly, but she hoped that with Tonks' help, people would show up. Eventually.

She picked the small package with the gift from her and Arthur, holding it in her hands. It was a good watch; she actually hadn't expected aunt Muriel to offer it. With its own history and such...

She still couldn't believe it, her littlest was coming of age. Felt like yesterday, when she was so upset at not going to Hogwarts along with Ron; when she was coming to complain about the twins (instead of praising them and having them about as intimidated of her as she'd been of them). Then all the troubles had started happening, the war...

Turn around and they've grown. All of them.

Molly sighed and replaced the wrapped watch on the table meant to collect the presents. She moved around, straightening tablecloths, righting table sets, smoothing out napkins... All the familiar things.

Well. She was going to make sure THIS party was good. Not a quiet thing, like last year. It should be special, and she was going to work hard to make sure inappropriate things did NOT happen.

She huffed, thinking about that... thing Ginny'd been sent earlier.

Let's hope that's the misfire for today then.

She turned away and re-entered the house, to check again everything was in order in the kitchen, and ready.

Six o'clock, dinner time.
